2008-2009

Katie Hennessy, DVM


After completing her internship at EMCO, Dr. Hennessy accepted a position with Orlando Equine Veterinary Care in Orlando, Florida as an associate veterinarian.

 

 

Ben Stoughton, DVM

Following his internship at EMCO, Dr. Stoughton relocated to Caldwell, Texas with his wife, Aubrey, and their pets. In July 2009, he started a three year large animal internal medicine residency at Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Center. 
 
 

  

Rebecca A. Yarne, DVM

 Dr. Yarne is pursuing a position as an associate veterinarian in an equine practice in New Mexico.

 

 

 

Kendrick A. Sudderth, DVM

Dr. Sudderth is pursuing her Masters in Equine Reproduction at Texas A & M.

 


 
Lisa A. Pearson, DVM

Dr. Pearson is currently a large animal Theriogenology resident at Washington State. 

 

  


 

2007-2008

Raphael Borges, DVM
Following his internship with EMCO, he accepted a position with us as an associate veterinarian.

 

 

 

Joan Palmero, DVM, EMCO intern June 2007-June 2008 has accepted a large animal Internal Medicine residency at University of California – Davis. 
 

 

  

Jennifer Read, BVMS, EMCO intern June 2007-June 2008 has accepted a large animal Internal Medicine residency at University of Pennsylvania-New Bolton Center.

 

 

 

Heather Davis, DVM, EMCO intern June 2007-June 2008 has accepted a large animal Surgical residency at Auburn University.

 


 
Jeremiah Easley, DVM, EMCO intern June 2007-June 2008 has accepted a large animal Surgical residency at University of Florida.
 

 

 

 

Ryan Ferris, DVM, EMCO intern June 2007-June 2008 has accepted a large animal Theriogenology residency at Colorado State University. 

 

 


 
Mariana Crumley, DVM, EMCO intern June 2007-June 2008 has accepted a large animal Anesthesia residency at Kansas State University

 

 

 


 2006-2007

Lewis SmithLewis Smith, BVet Med
Dr. Lewis Smith, BVet Med is currently undertaking an ECVS residency in equine surgery at Rossdales Equine Hospital, Newmarket, United Kingdom. Newmarket is the largest training and breeding area for Thoroughbreds in the United Kingdom. This is a three year position. The residency is split between lameness and surgery. He lives in Exning, a small village outside of Newmarket, which has three pubs, whose hospitality he frequently enjoys!"


Kelly Butterworth, DVM


Karie Vander Werf, DVM
Karie is currently packing up her house and household to move to Manhattan, KS where she will start an Equine Internal Medicine Residency at KSU!  It starts July 14th. Very exciting!

 
Vicki Langford, DVM

 


2005-2006

Sarah Reuss, VMD
Sarah has moved to God's country to do her internal medicine residency at Texas A&M University, Gig'em!

Phil Cramp, BVM&S
Phil has taken a more northerly route to Michigan State University for a sugery residency and is busy charming his way into ACVS status.

Jessica Thompson, DVM
Jess was selected to LSU's medicine residency program and is doing well in the bayou.

Colin Anderson, DVM
Colin has returned to Tennessee to start up his own large animal practice.

Sandra Gosselin, DVM
Sandra has now become a referring veterinarian for EMCO after joining another great ambulatory veterinarian, Dr. Allison Foil.


2004-2005

Orlaith Cleary, DMV
Orlaith's talents attracted the attention of Adena Springs South Farm where she served as assistant to their resident veterinarian Dr. Pete Kazekevicius.  Dr. Cleary was then selected as a surgical resident at the University of Florida in 2006.

Jordan Lewis, DVM
Jordan finished her internship at EMCO in 2005 and is now employed with a fantastic equine practice in South Florida, Palm Beach Equine.

2002-2003

Joan Tennant, DVM
Dr. Tennant completed internship in 2003 at EMCO and has remained on staff as a general practitioner where she serves many of our local stud farms.


 2001

Jose De Angel, DVM
Dr. DeAngel completed an internship in 2001 and was hired by Dr. Jose Garcia-Blanco in Puerto Rico as a race track veterinarian.  He graduated from Kansas State University in 2000.


1999-2000

Shannon Luznar, DVM Dip. ACT
Dr. Luznar completed the first internship at EMCO in 2000 and then successfully completed a theriogenology residency at the University of Florida.  Shannon is currently starting her own ambulatory practice near her childhood home in New Smyrna Beach, Florida where she serves as a general practitioner and reproduction specialist.
