Lameness
The Ambulatory staff at the Equine Medical Center of Ocala are avid sport horse enthusiasts. The clinic is a founding sponsor and strong supporter of the new Florida Horse Park (www.flhorsepark.com). One or more of our staff veterinarians will be the show veterinarian for virtually every event held at the Florida Horse Park. To provide the highest level of support to our sport horse clients, Dr. Lisa SInclair is currently in the process of fulfilling the requirements for licensure as a FEI (International Federation for Equestrian Sports, www.horsesport.org) veterinarian, which will enable her to serve as FEI Delegate Veterinarian at international competitions (CCI, CIC, CAI).
Dr. Lisa SInclair enjoys working with performance horses and has special interest in lameness. She takes the time to work with both horse and rider to pinpoint the area of concern. A decision can then be made for treatment on the farm or for further diagnostic evaluation by the lameness specialists at the clinic where advanced technologies in lameness diagnosis and treatment are performed.
