Equine Medical Center of Ocala

Amanda Ramseyer, DVM

Washington State University

Dr. Amanda Ramseyer grew up in Boise Idaho and started working on a quarter horse farm in high school. It was through this job that she realized she wanted to become an equine veterinarian. Dr. Ramseyer received her undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho so for this reason, she is NOT a Boise State fan. She received her veterinary medicine degree from Washington State University.

She is married to Dan (aka wonderful husband). Dan is a food scientist. Two dogs and a cat are part of the Ramseyer family. Down time is spent camping, hiking, canoeing and snorkeling. As time permits, Dr. Ramseyer enjoys traveling abroad. Following her internship at EMCO, she plans to seek a position in private practice.
