Lisa was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to Omaha, Nebraska with her family at the age of eleven. While in the Midwest, she developed her love of horses through Pony Club and, later, competitive eventing. Lisa has been working as an ambulatory associate veterinarian at the Equine Medical Center of Ocala since December 2004, and particularly enjoys the disciplines of medicine, reproduction, and lameness. Treasured moments include delivering her nephew, Blake, and diving with dwarf Minke whales. When not working, Lisa’s passion is traveling. She dreams of one day seeing the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania.
