Neonatal Care
During foaling season, the core of the Internal Medicine caseload is occupied with newborn foals in our intensive care unit. The ICU provides advanced monitoring, diagnostics, therapeutics and 24-hour critical care.
Dr. Tiffany Hall, ACVIM, ACVECC, and her team provide emergency medical care, around the clock, to many sick foals every year. The Internal Medicine Department works closely with the Reproductive staff to ensure the best care for both mares and foals in the Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Corey Miller, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACT, as well as the EMCO surgical team, are available anytime day or night for emergency dystocias, foaling related problems and post-foaling care.
